Biography

Petar Mandjoukov

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of Mandjoukov SJSC

Petar Mandjoukov was born in Plovdiv in 1942. He graduated from the Technical University of Sofia in machine-building technology. In 1979 he graduated in Foreign Trade from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia.

He has worked in the field of machine-building and foreign trade for a long time being director and representative of leading companies in Bulgaria and abroad. In 1999 he set up PM Group JSC company as a successor of the companies he founded in 1993.

In October 2007 PM Goup was renamed as Mandjoukov SJSC, the new name reflecting the family principle of organization of the business.

Currently Petar Mandjoukov is Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of directors.

The company runs active businesses in the field of media, machinebuilding, trade, construction, wine production. It comprises: PM Pres, Pen Presa - publisher of the weeklies TV Saga and Zdravi sme, Machinoexport JSC, ZMM Sofia JSC, Vitosha Business Center, Sofia Development, Winehouse Vinogradec JSC.

Petar Mandjoukov is a member of the Management Council of the Union of the Publishers of Daily Newspapers in Bulgaria; founder and chairman of Association of the Family Business– Bulgaria; member of the Management Council of the Bulgarian Community Libraries Association; member of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Association.

Petar Mandjoukov is one of the founders of the association for Joan Exarch East European University, Sofia – non-governmental organization aiming at the development of the tertiary education and scientific research, member-correspondent of the Academy of Ecology in Kiev, Ukraine.

Petar Mandjoukov and the companies he represents develop a donor activity of wide scope.

Petar Mandjoukov is bearer of Stara Planina first order medal of Republic of Bulgaria.

He is proficient in French, English and Russian.

He has tree sons and one grandchild.
